Privacy

What this app stores, in plain terms.

What stays on your device

Your history, starred words, and display settings are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot read them. Clearing the history, or clearing your browser data, removes them for good.

What we measure

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you. We do not run any other tracking, and we do not store your IP address.

When you write by hand

If you use handwriting input while online, the strokes you draw are sent to Google's handwriting recognition service to get candidate characters. Only the strokes are sent, never your name or the rest of your text. When you are offline or Google can't be reached, the strokes stay on your device and are recognized by a small model that runs in your browser. Google's privacy policy applies to the strokes that are sent.

What happens when you write to us

The contact form sends your message through Web3Forms to our inbox. Only what you type in the form is sent. If you leave the email field blank we have no way to reply.
